Manufacturing Process

J.B. Plaster is made from calcium sulfate hemihydrate, CaSO4*1/2H2O to which no additives are added. It is manufactured in an automatic rotatory drum under controlled temperature. The product is available in dry powder form & can be applied to Interiors.

It provides a smooth finish to internal walls surfaces & ceiling. It requires no water curing & attains quick strength& is also free from shrinkage cracks.

How to use

• Do not use hook while loading/unloading of the bags.

• After taking out plaster from the bag close the bag to avoid contact with moisture.

• Always ensure that wet hands are not used to pick the plaster.

• Before applying on the walls, the surface should be cleaned with water.

• To make fine plaster, thorough mixing of Plaster is done to make it free from

             lump before use.

• Apply 2nd coat of plaster only after the first coat sets on the wall.

• Always mix plaster powder in the water not water in the plaster.

Normally l kg. of J.B.Plaster cover ±2.4 (If applied2-3 mm on a plain smooth wall.)

•Transverse Strength:

J.B. Plaster has a good transverse strength n 6-7 kg/sq cm. Thus more life on the wall surface and is also scrub resistant.

• No Cracking & Shrinkage:

 Being incorporated with the finest & purest Gypsum there are no chances of cracking & Shrinkage.

• Easy to Apply:

 It can be applied on the interior walls & Ceiling protecting your expensive paint to erode.

• Packing:

 It is available in 2kg, 20kg & 25kg. laminated bags having Batch No., Date & Yr. of mfg.

• Storage:

  It should be stored in a dry place protected from moisture. The product should be used within six months of mfg. date.

As a thumb rule first, in first out stock management is advisable.

• Some Technical Steps:

 Use clean tools & apply plaster on the clean surface.

The area of application should be dry, clean, and dust-free.

Use clean water, clean tools & clean buckets/pots to avoid any residue in the POP paste.
